New Delhi: Time and again, Bollywood has been giving opportunities to foreign actresses in Hindi movies. Whether it is a role of a firangi ladki or a for an item number, Bollywood keeps its options open. Here we list down some of the foreign entries into the tinsel town including Sunny Leone, Nargis Fakhri, Claudia Ceisla and others.
Sunny Leone, born to Indian actress, is a Canadian pornographic actress, who made her entry through TV show Bigg Boss. Soon, she became a famous name in the industry with her debut movie Jism 2 and will be seen in Ragini MMS 2 next. She has also made an appearance in an item song this year too, titled ‘Laila’
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, who won Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. Jacqueline entered Bollywood in 2009 with Sujoy Ghosh’s Aladin, and her latest appearence has been in Ramaiya Vastavaiya for an item song with Prabhudeva.
Katrina Kaif is a British Indian actress, who has been giving mesmerizing performances, is often referred to as Barbie Doll of Bollywood. Top Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan termed her to be their lucky mascot too. Recently, after her holiday pics are out, Katrina is believed to be dating Ranbir Kapoor.
The ‘Balma girl’ is born in Poland, her father is Polish and mother is German. She is a convert to Hinduism. Claudia appeared in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khiladi 786’. Reportedly, she is also working in a Bollywood film Karma along with leads Carlucci Weyant, Alma Saraci as part of an international filmcrew to be filmed in India.
Amy Jackson, born in Isle of Man, is a British beauty pageant titleholder, model and actress, working in various Indian film industries including Tamil, Telugu and Bollywood. Ekk Deewana Tha against Prateik Babbar was her first Hindi movie and reportedly, she was also dating him.
Giselli Monteiro, a Brazilian model turned actress in Bollywood films. She made her debut in Love Aaj Kal (2009) as a Sikh girl Harleen Kaur and worked in 2011 Hindi romance film Always Kabhi Kabhi.
