New Delhi: Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had issued new guidelines following a Delhi High Court order which had been passed recently which response to PIL moved by a social jurist as few weeks remains in the admission of nursery in Delhi.
High Court had given new guidelines according to which admissions are not allowed through management quota from now as the concept of management quota has been completely removed.
A reservation of 25% seats in mandatory for Delhi schools for the students falling in the category of Economically Weaker Section (ESW) and Disadvantaged Groups.
However, 5% seats will be reserved for school staff’s children and unfilled staff quota will also spill over to open seats.
5% seats now will be reserved for girls in co-ed schools, according to new guidelines.
