Mumbai: Born on January 9, 1974, Farhan Akhtar is a man who wears many hats, that of an actor, director, producer, television host and singer. This multi-talented personality has had a very fruitful 2013 with his film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag scoring well with the fans, critics and at the box office, and we’re sure bagging a few awards for his stellar performance as the Flying Sikh will be the perfect icing on his cake.
Akhtar has an interesting line up of films for 2014 too; he will be first seen opposite Vidya Balan inPyaar Ke Side Effects sequel, Shaadi Ke Side Effects. The actor will also feature alongside Shahrukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia’s Raees and will work with his Fukhreyprotege Pulkit Samrat in a film too. He will also be seen in the role of a polygamist in Reema Kagti’s next. While many are eagerly awaiting for Farhan’s next directorial, we hear that Don 3 is also in the making. Farhan had also expressed in an interview that he would like to direct the Jai Ho actor Salman Khan in a film. The actor is one of the Bollywood celebrities who has championed various causes and is best known for his poetry and work towards the cause of women. Akhtar had launched a campaign MARD (Men against Rape and Discrimination) and has written several verses and poems for the same.
