New Delhi: when Rahul Gandhi was addressing the AICC meet in the capital, all eyes were on him. All the Congress members, leaders, and workers everyone was present at the meet, but one person, who was present at the meet managed to dodge the cameras was Rahul’s sister Priyanka Gandhi.
As Rahul delivered what was being hailed as the ‘most impresssive and passionate speech by him,’ sister Priyanka was behind the stage away from the media glare. With her recent involvement in the Congress meetings and her role in the backroom management of Rahul Gandhi’s election campaign, Priyanka Gandhi’s role in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections is emerging as a clear picture now.
According to Report, Priyanka to handle Rahul’s election campaigns if reports are to be believed, Congress party’s poll strategy document has clearly defined Priyanka’s role. It is believed that she will be behind the party workers and will guide them as well as provide valuable inputs to the team handling the election campaigns.
She is said to be interacting with the Youth Congress members and is also keeping a tab on other the political developments. The Congress on the other hand continues to keep her involvement a low-key affair saying that she will campaign only from Amethi and Raebareli, refusing that she has a bigger role in the party.
