Gujarat Police stop Kejriwal's car mid-way to Modi's residenceGandhinagar: The Gujarat Police on Friday stopped AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal’s car mid-way when he was going to meet state Chief Minister Narendra Modi at his residence. Kejriwal was proceeding towards Modi’s home to meet him with a list of 16 questions, without seeking appointment.

Sisodia said,As per reports, Kejriwal aide Manish Sisodia is now on his way to Modi’s office in a police van to seek appointment for the meeting. I am going to take appointment from Modi since police have stopped Kejriwal.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal dismissed Modi’s repeated claims of Gujarat’s development and said that he will head to the Chief Minister’s residence to meet him with a list of 16 questions. What we saw in Gujarat is quite shocking.

It’s opposite to what was being said. We are going to meet Narendra Modi at his residence. If he is free to meet us, fine. If not, we will return when he gives us an appointment, said Kejriwal, who is in Gujarat to verify the development claims often made by the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

The former Delhi chief minister also trained his guns on Modi over gas pricing, saying, I want to ask Modi if his government plans to raise the price of gas from KG Basin basin to dollor 16 per unit. Kejriwal on Thursday said that there was development in Gujarat but it was of Ambani’s and Adani’s.

There is no 24 hour electricity supply to the people. People have told me that they have to pay bribe to get job and other services. We will show the truth about the Gujarat model. It is nothing but trash, he added.

He also reiterated that it is against the party policy to indulge in violence, and urged party workers to spread the truth about Gujarat development model in the state.

“I asked people why they voted for Modi if they are so irked with him. They told me that Modi does not let anyone stay in the opposition. He either buys them or scares them,” he added.
