New Delhi: As voters, election officials and security forces occupied a 117-year-old Buddhist monastery here which was turned into a polling booth, monks there were forced to cancel their daily prayers and other religious activities.
Over 67 per cent polling in West Bengal till 3:00 PM and 44.51 per cent voting was recorded in 18 seats of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
