Ekta born on 7th June 1975 started her career in the year 1995, by producing Hum Paanch, a family sitcom which she produced under the banner of her production house Balaji Telefilms.
The sitcom was a huge success and even today is regarded as one of the all time favourite comedies. Ever since the inception of her production house, there is no looking back for this zestful lady. She later produced some of India’s biggest Television serials like Kahaanii Ghar Ghar Kii, Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhii Bahu thi, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and many many more.
