Lucknow: With the increase in crime in Uttar Pradesh against women, the statement of officials and leaders too becoming controversial which not only shows the failure of them to control over crime but also reflect their moral value.
The Governor of Uttar Pradesh Aziz Qureshi had now given a controversial statement over increasing rape in state on Monday. He claimed that even god could not prevent rape incidents.
Qureshi had taken additional charge as the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. He said, “Even god can’t prevent rapes there should not be politics over rapes.”
It not only reflects the failure of Governor in state but also seems to give specific coverage to the statement of Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
SP supremo too had generated controversy after alleging that the rape incidents in the state were very less as compared to its entire population.
Qureshi also said, “Law and order situation in the state is a matter of concern…though rapes can’t be stopped, the police must act swiftly and and bring the culprits to justice.”
