Teacher thrashed visually challenged students in KakinadaKakinada: A school correspondent had beaten up three visually challenged students mercilessly in Greenfield School for Blind at Timmapuram of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.

The incident had been highlighted by some Telugu news channels after some unidentified person had sent them the video clipping on Monday.

As soon as the video broadcasted by channels, angry parents and social activists staged protest in front of school. They also demanded for action against the school management.

District Educational Officer K.V. Srinivasulu Reddy had rushed to the school and conducted an inquiry over the incident.

The Sarpavaram police had arrested the school correspondent K.V. Rao and principal Srinivas for beating up the visually impaired children after complaint from the DEO.
