Jammu: To rescue the stranded victims and their relatives, Central government on Monday issued a list of helpline numbers. Home Minister Rajnath Singh mentioned, “Control Room is being set up at Srinagar and New Delhi to actively monitor and coordinate the rescue and relief operations in the state.”
The MHA control room numbers for help and assistance in J&K are as follows: 011- 23093054, 23092763, 23092923, 23092885, 23093566, 23093563.
A flood control room has also been set up in New Delhi in J&K House. The number is: (011)-24611210 and 24611108, Srinagar-0194-2452138 and Jammu-0191-2560401.

Meanwhile a team of officials headed by JS (Disaster Management) has been instructed to make its base at Srinagar and monitor rescue and relief in J&K.
