New Delhi: Badminton star Saina Nehwal had been gone under former India coach Vimal Kumar for training.
Saina had been split with the national head coach Pullela Gopichand. The Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal had also conveyed the decision to Gopicahnd during the recently concluded World Championships in Denmark.
Saina has decided to move to Bangalore to work under Vimal Kumar for the upcoming Asian Games, which will kick-start from September 19.
It is the second time when Saina has decided to split with the Gopichand.
Nehwal went to train under Baskar Babu in 2011. Meanwhile she later realised her mistake and returned to Gopi within a few months.
