Jammu: Three terrorist had been killed in an encounter with Indian Army in Kupawara of Jammu and Kashmir.
A defence spokesperson said that troops launched an operation along the LoC in Keran forward area in Kupwara district this morning on specific information about presence of a group of militants.
He said that all three heavily armed terrorists were killed in the operation and large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
Notably that Jammu and Kashmir is badly hitted by flood and government agencies are trying to bring back the state on track but Pakistan-backed militant outfits are trying to take advantage of the situation.
