Pakistani troops again violate ceasefire in Jammu & Kashmir’s PoonchPoonch: After keeping silent their guns for two days, Pakistan on Saturday again violated ceasefire at Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district and open fire on four Indian posts.

Indian soldiers fired in retaliation to the unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops. Notify that Pakistan is continuously violating ceasefire from long ago.

Pakistani troops had earlier resorted to mortar shelling beyond the international border.

Villagers have been advised to stay indoors and the state administration has provided buses to evacuate border villagers to safer places in wake of ceasefire violation and unprovoked firing by Pakistan.

Notify that seven Indians have been died and more than 50 have been injured in the border firing.
