German: German car maker Audi has managed to add 10000 new customers to its list in India in 2014 and the firm is celebrating the same by offering new schemes on A4 and A6 sedans. In a lucrative scheme, the brand with the four rings is giving customers the option of buying these models with free service for a period of three years or till the time they travel a distance of 45000 km, whichever takes place earlier.
Along with this, the company would be offering a warranty of three years, road side assistance and insurance. However, these benefits are available only on the first 300 bookings after the scheme was announced and will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
Audi A4 has been a highly successful model for the Volkswagen Group owned brand and in order to capitalise on the same, it launched the Premium Sport edition, which featured cosmetic changes to make it more appealing.
The biggest rival of this sedan is the BMW 3-series, a model that rules the segment at present, followed by the Mercedes-Benz C-class, which is trying to gain an advantage in the section. Experts feel that by offering such schemes, Audi is likely to further increase its customer base in the country.
