Ranchi: PM Narendra Modi arrived in Daltonganj today to formally kick off BJP’s election campaign in the poll-bound Jharkhand amid unprecedented security in view of threats from the Naxalis and the banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen (IM).
PM Modi, who returned from a three-nation tour yesterday, is scheduled to hold two rallies at Daltonganj and Chandwa in Palamu district. He is also likely to make time to campaign for the subsequent four phases of Assembly polls in Jharkhand, a state wrecked by political instability since it was formed 14 years ago.
