Chennai: Indian Superstar Rajinikanth on Sunday hinted that he has interest in entering politics. He said he may plunge into politics.
Rajinikanth said, “I have been moving in the direction shown by God. If he desires that I should come to politics, I will serve the people.”
He said it while launching the audio and trailer of his tri-lingual action-thriller ‘Lingaa’.
He also said, “Politics is dangerous and deep. I am not afraid of politics, but hesitant. In politics you need strong roots.”
For several years, there has been speculation whether the megastar would join politics as various political parties have been wooing him.
‘Lingaa’ is expected to release on Rajinikanth’s birthday on December 12.
The film is being produced in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Superstar Rajinikanth said about the movie that doing films with social message is also a ‘service to the society’.
