Noida: Two days before the second anniversary of Delhi bus gang-rape of Damini, a 21-year-old woman has accused property dealer of raping her at his office in Noida Sector 27. According to police, the victim had recently moved to Noida and had gone there to check out houses on rent.
Police said that the incident had taken place on Sunday. Accused Mohan Awana had asked her to meet him near Atta Market saying he would show her some houses.
A police official said that an FIR has been lodged at Sector 20 police station and hunt to nab the accused is on. Police said the woman was taken to the district hospital for a medical examination and she is scheduled to give her statement to the magistrate today.
