#BJP’s #RamMadhav said party holding talks with all stakeholders for government formation in #Jammu & #KashmirNew Delhi: The General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party Ram Madhav said on Friday that his party was holding consultations with all important stakeholders of Jammu and Kashmir for the formation of government.

Notify that Madhav held a series of meetings with regional parties which include PDP and said that Prime Minister had a grand vision for the development of the state.

He said, “To realize this dream, we have to provide a government that will put the state on development track. We are meeting with all important stakeholders and our aim is to provide a stable and credible government.”

Madhav said the talks with PDP were still at initial stages.

He also said, “PDP is an important stakeholder and has got a major mandate. Mufti (Mohammad Sayeed) has a five-decade long political career and is respected not only in the state but across the country. National Conference also has got substantial number of seats. It was part of the NDA during (Atal Bihari) Vajpayee’s tenure (as Prime Minister).”

On a question of out of two parties, with which option BJP prefer to ally, Madhav said it was not about the party but a choice of providing a stable and credible government.

Over the issue of Chief Ministership, Madhav said the issue was not discussed with either PDP or any other stakeholder.

He said, “Talks have not reached that stage yet. We are still at the initial stages.”

Notable that PDP has secured 28 seats, BJP bagged 25 in the elections to the 87-member state Assembly.
