New Delhi: The vocal war in between Bharatiya Janata Party and Trinamool Congress had become more violent with TMC had alleged the links of BJP chief Amit Shah with Sahara Group.
MPs of TMC held protest outside Parliament on Monday demanding probe against Amit Shah.
TMC MPs stormed the well of the House in Rajya Sabha and shouted slogans in Lok Sabha as well.
They also demanded for a clarification from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and suspension of the question hour in the Upper House.
TMC leader Derek O’Brien flashed a red diary in Rajya Sabha saying “it was recovered during raids in Sahara premises that has names of NM and Amit Shah”.
“There was a diary found during the Sahara probe in which BJP President Amit Shah’s name appears. We have asked for the question hour to be suspended. We want the Prime Minister to give an explanation on this,” said TMC MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay.
Meanwhile Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju had slammed the charges of TMC and said, “There is no truth in such allegations. No such diary was recovered. The TMC is making allegations for political gains.”
“The TMC is disturbed by the successful rally that was held by Amit Shah in Bengal yesterday. This diary has no basis at all,” said another BJP MP Chandan Mitra.
