Mumbai: Sandeep Patil-led selection panel had selected the 15-membered squad for World Cup 2015. Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and coach Duncan Fletcher had took part in meeting by video conferencing.
Saba Karim, Vikram Rathod and Rajendra Hans had also took part in meeting.
Selection committee had not given any chance to Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag and Robin Uthappa. The team selected for World Cup 2015 given below:
Indian team for World Cup: MS Dhoni (c & wk), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Stuart Binny, Umesh Yadav.
It’s a big day for Indian cricketers as national selectors had announced the name of 15-man World Cup squad.
