New Delhi: Vice President of India Hamid Ansari had failed to “salute” the National Flag during the 66th Republic Day of India which has raked in fresh debate and generate controversy. While debate is on whether Hamid “violated” norms or not is on, social-media is abuzz over Hamid’s act.
A photo featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee were seen saluting to the National Flag and it also seen Hamid Ansari oblivious of what’s going around him.
India’s Vice President himself not following the custom raised several eye balls at a time all the attendees at Rajpath were paying rich tributes to National Flag.
Notify that several had claimed it wasn’t deliberate and Hamid has “no intention” to hurt the sentiments, but his act certainly caught him off guard.
