Mumbai: Famous Cartoonist RK Laxman who draw the concern of higher people and everyone toward common man and called the creator of ubiquitous mute spectator ‘Common Man’ had been passed away on Monday at the age of 94 in Pune. He had been admitted to hospital on January 17 for urinary infection. He suffered multi-organ failure and was put on ventilator.
Officials said that a state funeral will be accorded to eminent cartoonist RK Laxman, who died at the age of 94 after suffering multi-organ failure.
An official of CMO told PTI that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the last rites of Laxman, who will be accorded the state funeral in Pune today.
