New Delhi: Have you been waiting for Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife to appear on the show now as she isn’t seen in the show from the past few weeks. Yes, that’s because she was missing from the show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’. No, she hasn’t left the show! Sumona Chakravarti has been missing from the show and was holidaying in Europe for the last two weeks. But, she is back in India now.
Remember that whole controversy when Sunil Grover, who played the most lovable character of Gutthi called it quits from Kapil Sharma‘s popular show, Comedy Nights With Kapil? Word was it that there were some ego issues between Kapil and Sunil that led to the latter leaving the show. However, everything was sorted later on and Sunil made a comeback on CNWK.
But it looks like problem doesn’t seem to end for Kapil for now it’s Sumona Chakrawarti, who plays the character of Mrs Sharma, has been missing from the nation’s most loved show since two weeks. So like Sunil, has she bid adieu to CNWK, you ask?
Well, before you jump to any conclusions, let us tell you that is certainly not the case. Reportedly, Sumona was holidaying in Europe. She has returned to the country just few days back. “I was shooting for a film in London, and then went on a holiday to Amsterdam and Paris. Now, I am back and have resumed shooting for the show. Nothing else is wrong and viewers will get to see me soon,” said Sumona
