Even 67 years after his retirement, Bradman’s phenomenal numbers continue to be the record to beat and Steve Smith has managed to surpass one such monumental effort . Don #Bradman had socred 715 in a series against India in 1947/48, and that tally sat at the top of the list until Friday, when #Smith raced past him during a quick-fire knock of 71.
#SteveSmith finished the series with 769 runs in 8 innings at an exceptional average of 128.16. His penchant for big scores has been well-conveyed in his four tons and two #fifties in the series.
In the Indian camp, Smith’s opposite number Virat Kohli is not too far away either. With four tons and a #fifty in seven innings so far, #ViratKohli has an aggregate of 646 runs in seven innings.
