Srinagar: The Chief spokesperson of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nayeem Akhtar on Monday said that his party is ready to form government in Jammu and Kashmir with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on issue-based agreements.
While talking to a media group, Akhtar said that even as the BJP top brass held a discussion with the party’s state leaders in New Delhi to discuss government formation.
He said that formal talks are on with the BJP and the PDP has put its demands forward to the saffron party.
She threw the ball toward BJP and said, “Let the BJP decide.”
Akhtar said the PDP wants to end tension along the border and that it was for trade with Pakistan, not terror and tension.
While referring to the alliance with BJP in past, he said, “We want Vajpayee’s mission be taken forward.”
