#ChrisGayle Hits 41-Ball 90 as West Indies Record Highest Chase in T20I History
#Johannesburg: #WestIndies achieved a world record run chase when they beat #SouthAfrica by four wickets with four balls to spare in the second #Twenty20 international at the Wanderers on Sunday.
Opener #ChrisGayle hit nine fours and seven sixes as he slammed a 41-ball 90 to power the visitors to a 2-0 unbeatable lead in the three-match series.
Earlier, South African captain Faf du Plessis hit a 46-ball century to lead South Africa to a total of 231 for seven after being sent in to bat in the second T20I at the Wanderers.
In ideal batting conditions, Du Plessis hammered 119 off 56 balls before he was caught in the deep off the last ball of the 19th over. Du Plessis hit five sixes and 11 fours.
Scores: South Africa 231-7 in 20 overs. West Indies 236-6 in 19.2 overs
