Mumbai: The Megastar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan had been named Timeless Fashion Icon at Filmfare Glamour Style and Fashion Awards.
72-year-old Amitabh Bachchan use micro blogging site Twitter to inform about the same.
He tweeted, “At night… Fashion and glamour and style takes over and decorates you with Timeless Fashion Icon Award! Time to Timeless!.”
Notify that Amitabh Bachchan is known for his impeccable fashion sense.
The ‘#Khiladi’ of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and ‘#Heroine’ fame Kareena Kapoor won the Most Glamorous Star male and female awards, respectively.
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who also won Global Icon of the Year (Male) award, shared the Most Glamorous On-Screen couple trophy with Kajol.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is all set to make his acting debut with ‘#Bombay Velvet’, was honored with the Most Glamorous Director award.
‘#Highway’ actress Alia Bhatt had won Emerging Face of Fashion (Female), while her ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Sidharth Malhotra was named the Emerging Face of Fashion (Male) at an event last evening.
Alia also use Twitter to inform about it. She tweted, “Thank you #CirocFilmfareGlamourAndStyleAward for the Emerging face of fashion award!I hope to live up to the expectations. @filmfare.”
Sonam Kapoor, who looked beautiful in a blue gown, won two awards – Trendsetter of the Year Award and Most Stylish Star (Female).
Junior Bachchan Abhishek and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have got Most Glamorous Real-Life Couple award. Aishwarya was also named the Global Icon of the Year (Female).
