#AAP suspends primary membership of #RajeshGarg for anti-party activityNew Delhi: The AAP leadership suspended former legislator Rajesh Garg from the party on Monday morning pending an inquiry against him for indulging in “anti-party activity”.

Garg had accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of trying to poach six Congress MLAs to form government last year. Garg, who represented the party from Rohini, was denied nomination in recent Assembly polls in Delhi.

After a recording of his telephonic conversations with Kejriwal became public, he came out in the open levelling allegations against the party. He also feigned ignorance on how it went public saying he had e-mailed it to party leader Kumar Vishwas.

Vishwas later hit back at Garg alleging he was trying to blackmail him in return for a party ticket.’ failed conspirator Rajesh Garg Ji, I had forwarded the audio clip to the party on the same day you tried to blackmail me with the same,” he said.

That was when you tried to exchange a Vidhansabha ticket with this audio.. Remember? Denied a ticket, u r free to do whatever u wish, (sic)” Vishwas tweeted. Garg responded by serving a legal notice to Vishwas for calling him a black-mailer and an opportunist.

Earlier, Garg had questioned Kejriwal over internal party democracy but later made a U-turn, saying it was a mistake and that he should have consulted the party first.
