Jaipur/Kerala: A Sharjah-bound Air India flight with 168 passengers on board was forced to make an emergency landing on Friday after experiencing engine trouble.
Air India flight 997 from the A-one around eight o’clock the night flew to Sharjah took off from Calicut International Airport near the city of Kozhikode in Kerala, landing in Mumbai two and a half hours later, where the nearest airport was located.
Kanna Nagasundaram, Air India’s station manager at Sharjah Airport, “The engine developed a snag, it’s a technical issue.”
Reports claimed that left engine of plane was on fire. Some passengers said that they heard the sound of the explosion, and the plane became uncontrollable.
This scene makes the situation nervous for passengers. Meanwhile understanding a loud crash of Flight Captain touted Rajneesh Kumar with Crew Members to normalcy soon.
Rajneesh is basically belongs from Jaipur. Rajneesh vulnerable to fire engine from the passenger position and assured them that they will soon share emergency landing in Mumbai will sit until cool and pray that all are safely landing.
Upon landing with one of the plane’s engines disabled, passengers were evacuated.
After a change of aircraft and crew, the plane took off from Mumbai at 2:16am, landing in Sharjah at 4am, local time.
Nagasundaram said, “There were no untoward incidents. They reached here safely.”
