Thane: Two men were arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 21-year-old woman from Kasara village in Thane, police said today. The incident occurred on Tuesday when the victim was going to her aunt’s house in Wadi from Devul in Thane.
21-yr-old women from Kasara village while going to her relatives house was held up by two men. They forced her to a private place and gang raped her. After assaulting her, they warned her and left her alone in the seculded area.
The accused Ramesh Sable 22, Sachin Wasave 26 are grilled. The two have been booked under IPC section 376 (rape), 506 and investigation is on. For the last one week, several incidents of rape were reported in Maharastra.
