Mumbai: Bollywood actor Salman Khan continues to be surrounded with troubles one after another. The actor is now trapped into a fresh trouble for assaulting and abusing a man on flight, last year. The court’s directive came on a complaint filed by Ravindra Moorat Dwivedi, a member of Brashtachaar Nirmoolan Samiti, who had alleged that Salman Khan and his bodyguard had assaulted him aboard a Mumbai-Delhi flight on November 4 last year.
“Dwivedi said he was carrying important documents regarding the demise of BJP leader Gopinath Munde, which he was supposed to hand over to the government. During the flight, Dwivedi alleged, Salman Khan along with his bodyguard Vishal got into a fight with him and snatched the documents from him,” R C Nagbhire, seniorinspector with the airport police, said.
According to the member who filed the complaint said that Salman Khan ordered his bodyguard to handle him and also snatched away the documents, which he was suppose to handover to Government.
Following the incident, the member in his statement said that when he approached airport police, they refused to take the complaint. He than took the case to Andheri Court.
The court has now directed the police to register an FIR under sections 392 (robbery), 323 (causing hurt), 504 (insult with intention to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code against Khan and his associates. “No FIR has been registered yet. I have forwarded the details and the FIR would be registered by Wednesday morning,” Nagbhire said.
