Chandigarh: Robet Vadra to be under official scanner soon as Haryana government is likely to issue a notification on Friday for the formation of a judicial commission headed by a retired Supreme Court judge to investigate land deals.
The probe will also include the land deals which had been made during Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress regime by Robert Vadra.
Notify that name of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-Law Robert Vadra has surfaced in alleged land scams in Haryana.
The high-powered commission to probe the land deals in Haryana will mainly focus on the cases involving Vadra. The panel will need the Centre’s approval and is likely to start the probe within a week.
Backing the move, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy had said, “It is crucial to probe the land deals approved by the Congress government in Haryana. Why should anyone object to the truth coming out?”
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij had taken a jibe at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and said that his ‘suit-boot’ jijaji (brother-in-law) won’t be spared during probe into the alleged illegal land deals.
