Mumbai: Sources on Thursday said that veteran actor of Bollywood Dharmendra has been admitted to South-Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. His condition is now stable.
Notify that authorities of hospital had refused to comment on his medical condition any further.
However reports said that the actor is undergoing routine checkup.
Last year too, in April, Dharmendra was advised complete bed rest by doctors, when he was shooting for a Punjabi film called ‘Double Trouble’. In 2010, the ‘Sholay’ actor was hospitalized in Chandigarh after complaints of chest pain.
The He-Man of Bollywood, Dharmendra has starred in over 100 movies with notable roles like that of ‘Sholay’, ‘Dharamveer’, ‘Aankhen’, ‘Anupama’, ‘Chupke Chupke’, ‘Naseeb’, ‘Dream Girl’ and ‘Charas’ among others.
Notify that Dharmendra has been conferrred with India’s third highest civilian honour Padma Bhushan. He has also been a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India and represented Bikaner constituency in Rajasthan from Bharatiya Janata Party.
His children are also working in Bollywood. His son Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and daughter Esha Deol is still active in Bollywood.
