#AAP govt's #budget session to begin from today, May Introduce #JanLokpal, Six Other Bills  New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party government may introduce Jan Lokpal Bill during the session during a six-day Budget session of the Delhi Assembly beginning Tuesday. However, there is no official confirmation that it is on agenda for this session. The six-day Budget session of the Delhi Assembly will begin  with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government ready to table six key bills.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who also holds the finance portfolio, will present the budget on June 25.After assuming power in February, the AAP government had presented an interim budget in March.

Among the bills to be moved during the coming session is the Delhi Legislative Assembly Members (prevention of Disqualification) (Amendment) Bill, 2015, seeking to keep the office of parliamentary secretaries out of the “office of profit” category.

The Kejriwal government had appointed 21 legislators from the Aam Aadmi Party as parliamentary secretaries to the cabinet ministers — a move criticised by the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress.An amendment bill to the Delhi Urban Slum Improvement Act will also be presented for the rehabilitation of shanties which came up between March 31, 2002 and January 1, 2006. Besides, a bill to make Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology a university will also be presented
