New Delhi: We’re referring to the app developer’s buzzword. Responsive is one that adapts itself across devices and screen sizes. It’s the latest buzzword in the technology space. Indeed, Narendra Modi is present on screens across all form factors. However, the term responsive is associated with the way your site adapts itself to varying screen sizes. Yesterday, India’s PM Narendra Modi announced the ‘Narendra Modi App’ on Twitter
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched his official app for Android devices. The app is available on Google Play Store as a free download. As per the app listing, the Narendra Modi app offers latest information, instant updates and helps citizens contribute towards various tasks for which they also earn badges.
It allows users to receive messages and emails directly from the Prime Minister of India. It offers the latest news and updates, access to the PM’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ state address, his biography, and blogs. The app also offers updates on PM Modi’s Governance initiatives and achievements, and development related infographics. Users can interact with the PM and share ideas and suggestions.
It appears the app is different from the crowd-sourced PMO Mobile App which was announced by MyGov, a citizen-engagement platform of the Government of India, in partnership with Google. The app’s features, based on 20 suggestions out of more than 9,500 received from different parts of the country, were announced recently.
