Mumbai: Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be adding to their brood of six by adopting a Syrian orphan, reports. Angelina’s work with the United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees has taken her to refugee camps in Turkey and in April, she criticized the United Nations Security Council for failing to do enough about the four-year conflict in Syria.
Radar Online quotes a source as saying that the actress met three Syrian brothers who were orphaned after their father was taken away by soldiers and their mother killed in a bombing. She reportedly wanted to adopt all three but after husband Brad raised concerns about how it would affect their six children, decided to adopt just one.
Brad was concerned about how his kids would react to the new adoption plans and hence the couple decided to adopt just child from the war-torn country. Brangelina’s brood includes adopted children Maddox, Pax, Zahara besides biological kids Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.
