New Delhi: Voting has not begun in Bihar yet, but there has been a flurry of pre-poll surveys predicting different electoral results for the state. Shining India News and Ek Mulakat survey says the Nitish-Lalu combine will win a simple majority in the 243-member assembly.
Shining India News & Ek Mulakat Survey had conducted a survey to know the mood of voters of all constituencies of Bihar assembly. A survey conducted by shining India news and Ek mulakat has projected a victory for the JD (U)-RJD-Congress alliance. The ‘Grand Alliance as it is called is predicted to win 122-130 seats with 44.5% vote-share in the 243-member state assembly
It is also noted that this graph may vary as the term of state election come near. Graph may be change according to voters.
For the BJP-led NDA, the survey projects disappointing numbers with the alliance ending up with just 110-115 seats with 41% vote-share including with LJP,RLSP and HAM and others will get 13 to 18 seat with 14.5% vote share , according to shining India news public opinion survey report
Shining India News & Ek Mulakat Survey had conducted a survey to know the mood of voters of Bihar State. A team of 25 research members of Shining India News & Ek Mulakat Survey had made a survey to know whom voters want to make Chief Minister of Bihar.
This survey has been conducted from 20th of September 2015 to 8th of October 2015 and teams had interacted with 35890 voters of different age. Our teams had met with senior citizens, youth and females.
Our research teams had also come to know the following percentage of different candidates for Chief Minister of Bihar:- Nitish Kumar remains the favorite for the post of the chief minister
Nitish Kumar (JD-U) – 55%
Sushil Kumar Modi (NDA) – 20%
Shatrughan Sinha (BJP) – 5%
Other – 20%
41% people said that these elections are for change, while 49% said we don’t want change and 39% people said that the chief minister should change, 61 % people said we don’t want to change our CM. 57% said they would like to change for their current MLA.
When shining India news and Ek Mulakat team asked to peoples who would be good work for the development of Bihar the 40% people said they want to support BJP-led alliance even 45% people want to support Nitish Kumar, Lalu-Congress alliance party for Bihar’s development .
JD(U) had won from Munger in 2010 but ceded the seat to RJD as the social arithmetic here favors it more. Even in these elections in which BJP is the dominant partner, its allies LJP, RLSP and HAM (secular) are contesting on 22 seats in the first phase.
Bihar will go for polls in a five phase election from October 12 and end on November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8. The term of the current 243-member Bihar Assembly expires on November 29. The remaining four phase polling will held on October 16, October 28, November 1 and November 5. Counting of votes will take place on November 8.
