New Delhi: The Information and Broadcasting Ministry today clarified that there is no proposal to ban condom advertisements during day. The clarification came days after the I&B Ministry had called a meeting to discuss proposals that said condom advertisements should be shown between 11 PM to 5 AM.

He had demanded a ban on condom advertisements featruring the actress.
“There is a woman Sunny Leone. She has worked in many nude films. There is an ad – she’s lying down and one man is coming to her. It’s a condom ad. If they are shown everywhere on TV and newspapers, rape incidents will increase,” Communist Party of India leader Atul Kumar Anjan had said.these ads develop sexuality and destroys sensibility, He added.
