#Jammu : Bollywood film Actor Vivek Oberoi launched Lawrence School Girl Child Scholarship program in the presence of his wife Priyanka Oberoi & Manish Joshi, Managing Director Lawrence Public School. While launching the Lawrence School Girl Child Scholarship program, the actor appreciated the school management headed by Wg Cdr M.M Joshi Chairman Lawrence Public School & Mrs. Shakuntla Joshi Founder Principal for initiating this scholarship program for the girl child excelling in academics, sports or other co-curricular activities. He said that he had been associated with Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi & Sidhra branches since long & was happy to see that the girls from both these branches were excelling in academics & other co-curricular activities, besides getting selected in various professional colleges. He also congratulated Urvashi Puri who had topped in her class 12th board exams & Chavi Gupta, Shalini Raina, Vishali Sharma, who had topped in her class 8th board exams.

Later Mr. Manish Joshi, Managing Director informed that the school management decided to request actor Vivek Oberoi to launch the Lawrence School Girl Child Scholarship program as he has contributed a lot to the society, specially the unprivileged girls by starting Project Devi in which thousands of unprivileged girls have been provided free education along with vocational training helping them to be become economically independent. The vote of thanks was presented by Mrs. Shivani Joshi, she thanked both Vivek Oberoi & Priyanka Oberoi for encouraging the students.
