Thiruvananthapuram: A 65-year-old woman, who was hit by a vehicle in Kerela, kept lying injured on a busy road for several minutes. The accident took place in Kadakkavoor of Kerela’s Thiruvananthapuram.
The woman was later taken to hospital in a police car. The accused driver has, meanwhile, been arrested.
In a video posted by media, the woman is seen lying in the middle of the road for quite sometime. Several vehicles are seen passing by, however, none seems to stop or even slow down for a moment to help her.
She lied down for several minutes before she was taken to the hospital by fellow onlookers. The incident seems to have been caught on a CCTV camera installed nearby.
