The Armed forces quelling terror, opposition seeking proof of their bravery: PM Narendra Modi.#Patna: High Hitting out at opposition parties for questioning the recent air strike Balakot in Pakistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday the armed forces were busy quelling terror, but the Congress and its allies are not convinced with their act of bravery.

Addressing an election rally in Bihar’s capital Patna, the PM Modi said that the opposition’s actions are leaving a dent on the determination of the security forces.

“Now they have even started asking for proof of the airstrike. Why are Congress and its allies demoralizing our forces? Why are they giving statements which are benefiting our enemies?” he said.

On Saturday, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh had asked the Centre to provide evidence of the airstrikes on Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist camps in Pakistan’s Balakot. India conducted air strike at a Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camp in Balakot in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on February 26.

“Today, our determined security forces are fighting to crush terror both inside and outside of the border. However, there are few people who are denting the morale of our armed forces,” he said.

In an indirect warning to Pakistan, the Prime Minister said that India is no longer ready to silently acknowledge the sacrifices of its brave soldiers.

The Prime Minister also lashed out at the opposition for attacking him, saying, these days, a competition is underway to abuse the ‘Chowkidaar’, but you be assured, this ‘Chowkidaar’ of yours is as alert as ever. He alleged that the opposition parties were “conspiring” against him, he said.

He said that opposition parties have always doubted the bravery of our soldiers. “The way they had questioned the surgical strikes, in the same way, they will ask for the evidence of airstrikes on terrorist camps as well,” he said.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi  hailed the martyrs of #Pulwama and said that the nation is standing with their families.

PM Narendra Modi  also slammed the opposition’s grand alliance for failing to address the issue of terrorism.
