Another Taliban attack near Karachi airport

pakistanPakistan: As heavy gunfire is on between Pak Rangers and terrorists, flight operations at Jinnah airport have been suspended. Exchange of gunfire has stopped now. Terrorists are said to be hiding.  Heavy gunfire exchange is on between the terrorists and forces of ASF and Pakistan Rangers. Over 10 militants are said to be holed up in the area.

A day after it claimed deadly airport raid, the militant outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban has also owned up to the latest attack on ASF camp, saying more such attacks are to come.

Just a day after the Taliban staged a deadly raid on Jinnah international Airport, terrorists on Tuesday attacked Airport Security Force (ASF) camp number 2 and Located at the ASF academy in Bitai Abad, Pehlwan Goth in Karachi.

The camp under attack is located near the Jinnah International Airport which witnessed a lengthy Taliban siege yesterday, however Pakistan’s Aviation Authority (CAA) had cleared the airport on Monday after all terrorists were claimed to be eliminated.
