Lucknow: Crime against women are increasing in Uttar Pradesh and it seems that the Samajwadi Party’s government unable to take any hard action against criminals. Not only criminals but now their seems black spot on police department of Uttar Pradesh.
The woman in Hamirpur told senior officials that a sub-inspector and three constables gang-raped her when she went to the police station to meet her husband on Monday.
Hamirpur Superintendent of Police Virendra Shekhar said that following a complaint by the victim, a FIR was lodged and the station house officer (SHO) was arrested on Wednesday.
Shekhar assured the woman that no one would be spared if found guilty.
Officials also said that three other policemen named in the complaint are absconding and a search is on to arrest them.
