Senior official alleged misbehaviour by a J&K minister, quitJammu: A senior official of public health engineering department had resigned from its post after alleging that he had been misbehaved by one of the minister of CM Omar Abdullah.

He claimed that he has been abused by State Transport Minister Choudhary Ramjan. He also alleged that minister flung papers at him during an official meeting. Omar Abdullah is yet to respond to the incident.

The official Ahmed Muzaffar Lankar said, “I was badly harassed. He started putting unwanted allegations on me.”

Meanwhile Ramzan defended his action and said, “They were given Rs 5 crore for development work. But it had not even started. I just asked them where all the money had gone.”
