New Delhi: Islamic seminary Darul Uloom Deoband has condemned the video of al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri and said that Islam is non-violent and Muslims will never buy terrorist propaganda.
Darul Uloom Deoband said, “Indian Muslims would never be convinced by un-Islamic and false arguments of the al-Qaeda.”
Not only Darul Uloom but several Muslim groups, too, have condemned the al-Qaeda’s move.
Notify that Zawahiri has said that the outfit in the Indian subcontinent will focus on uniting Muslims living in Assam, Gujarat and Kashmir in the 55-minute video posted online.
He also claimed the formation of “al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent” as a glad tiding for Muslims adding that it would rescue Muslims in the areas from injustice and oppression.
