Kolkata: Member of Parliament of Trinamool Congress (TMC) of Rajya Sabha Srinjoy Bose had been summoned by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Wednesday for interrogation in the Saradha chit fund scam.
Notify that several TMC leaders had been facing charges in Saradha Scam. Notify that former Director General of Police of West Bengal Rajat Majumder was arrested in the case on Tuesday.
Majumdar is said to have close links to Saradha Group CMD Sudipta Sen, who is behind bars.
Official sources said, Majumdar had worked as Director General (Armed Police) in West Bengal. He was allegedly associated with the Saradha Group, which has been accused of duping thousands of investors with crore of rupees.
