Surat: A woman of Randel town area of Surat had filed a police complaint against 50 people for gang-raping her in Randel police station.
It is the most shocking and first type of incident in India where a victim had charged 50 people. Police had started investigation and search of accused.
According to reports, victim had been gang-raped for 4-5 times on different locations in last six months by 50 people.
Victim who belongs from general caste lived with her family and a Muslim family resides in her neighboring house. She alleged that her neighbor had gone out of station for few days and urged her to feed their animals in their absence.
One day when victim went to feed animal, #accused Aarif, Shakir and Jaed hostsge her and include 5-6 more people and gang-raped her. They also capture the video and threatened her to viral the video if she approach to either police or anyone else.
They were sexually harassing victim from last 6 months on behalf of video. Police had register FIR against 3 identified and 47 unidentified people and started investigating case.
On the question of police of delaying in complaint, victim said that accused had threatened her of killing her husband and children. When she disclosed the incident with her husband, he supported her and encourages her to file a police complaint.
