Modi government had taken 25 U-turns in 180 days CongressNew Delhi: Congress had aggressive attacked on the NDA-led Narendra Modi’s government and claimed that Centre government had taken over 25 U-turns in last 6 months from the day of coming in power. Congress had released a booklet on Monday which stated how the government has gone back on its poll promises.

Congress leader Ajay Maken had called it as a “U-turn government” and named three latest U-turns by the Centre in a press conference.

Maken had stated first U-turn as that Home Minister Rajnath Singh during the poll campaign had said that the country needs to know what were the circumstances and the facts of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s death.

The government had in a reply to recent RTI refused to make the documents public in connection with the mysterious death of the freedom fighter.

Maken said, “Congress asks Rajnath Singh and BJP what happened now? Should the BJP and Rajnath not apologise to the people of India for misleading them.”

Maken quoted second U-turn as Centre’s stand on land swapping deal in Assam with Bangladesh.

Maken said, “BJP has always opposed Bangladesh influx issue when Congress was in power but now they have taken a U-turn on the same. It seems that the BJP only wanted to politicise the Bangladesh issue.”

The third U-turn had been quoted by Congress is the stand of Government on Civil Nuclear Liability Bill.
