Delhi records coldest day of the season Morning at 6.6°C	New Delhi: The national capital will witness shivering cold from Saturday. It is being estimated that the minimum temperature in Delhi will be around 6 degrees and maximum 20 degrees Celsius. On December 14 the temperatures will be 8°C and 19°C, December 15 – 8°C and 21°C, December 16 and 17 temperature will be 6°C and 22°C, December 18 – 6°C and 22°C.

The good news is that the Delhi will be fog free as it is expected to remain cloudy for the next few days. However, rain is expected in the next few days which may bring the temperature further down. Interestingly, the temperature during day is expected to dip, but not at night due to clouds.

Neighbouring states Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan are also expected to witness a fall in temperature.

Delhiites today woke up to a chilly morning with the minimum temperature settling at 5.1 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season’s average

The state capital shivered at 2.2 degrees Celsius and was recorded as the coldest place, while weather mostly remained dry in other parts of Uttar Pradesh. According to a MeT report, night temperatures fell markedly in Gorakhpur division, fell appreciably in Faizabad division, rose appreciably in Meerut and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.
