Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan had cancel the order of Islamabad High Court and cancel the release of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.
Dawn reported that the case had been sent back to the lower court on saying its order on release of Lakhvi was rushed, Dawn reported.
The report said that apex court said the high court must hear arguments of Lakhvi as well as the government with sufficient time.
The case of Lakhvi will again hear on next Monday at Islamabad.
The order comes a day after the high court issued notices to Lakhvi on the appeal filed by the Federal Investigation Agency, seeking cancellation of bail granted to him by the ATC in the 26/11 case, Dawn reported.
Notify that Lakhvi is the main mastermind of Mumbai terror attack at Hotel Taj under which 166 people were died.
